Horrible experience with everyone at Golden West CU. I have had identity theft happen. I have documentation from check systems showing it was identity theft. I have police reports. I have court orders. I opened an account a year ago with Rebecca when she was at the Murray location. She was extremely nice then. I got it opened. I was in a bankruptcy at that time. She knew that. My credit was bad. She knew that. And I was on check systems. She knew that. My account got charged off at Golden west due to losing a job and I used courtesy pay. I paid it off in full immediately and was told by Luis in collections that I could get another account opened. I drove to south jordan to see Rebecca because she helped me before and I have a different experience. Rebecca didn't even talk to me. Didn't even know who I was. I get it that you can't remember anyone, but at least try or pretend. A girl helped me. She went to Rebecca's office and was talking about me for 30+ minutes. My account was declined because of a bankruptcy. I thought that was interesting because Rebecca had no problem with me being in the same bankruptcy when I opened my account with her at a different branch. Rebecca didn't talk to me. She completely pushed me on to her employee, which her employee was no help. I have tried getting ahold of Luis 3+ times for a letter. I'm still showing on check systems as unpaid and he says I'm not. Think it's funny how even if I pay you your money you still screw me in so many ways. I was able to go to utah first credit union, higher rated might I add, beautiful branches, higher assets, and way nicer people.... they opened an account for me with no questions asked. It's a bank account. It's not a loan. If I have proof showing I paid things off, and court documentation showing I had identity theft and what it is on, you should be able to open a simple bank account. I was not asking for a loan. Sometimes people go through hardships as I'm sure you have. Be a human for a moment and do what is right.
I have a Goldenwest account and a USAA account. I wanted to pull $1000 from USAA to pay my rent in cash, and this branch would not let me do it even though I have more than enough in my Goldenwest account that would cover the amount. I have done this at numerous other branches, so I asked why I was being denied and if it was due to a policy. The branch manager said it was her discretion. I could understand if some policy had changed, but i just did this same thing with the branch on Redwood, and they took care of me, no problem. So, Im going to take my business elsewhere and use a different branch, or I might just withdraw all my money and change to a different credit union!
I had the most amazing experience with 2 woman at the South Valley branch! Amber hands down had the most amazing customer service. Her willingness to go above and beyond won me over! Customer service is a huge deal to me. I have always been a loyal customer of Security Service Federal Credit Union until I met Amber! She took the time and effort to get to know me and recognize my needs. She took the time to talk to me about the auto loan options and credit card perks, and direct me to Karina. Karina was kind, thorough, and quick at getting my auto loan completed before the dealership closed. Then she completed my credit card application in no time as well. Karina even went as far as helping me do a balance transfer from my other credit cards to my new Golden West credit card so I could utilize the promotion they had available. My experience was absolutely amazing!!! You can’t go wrong with going to these two woman for all of your financial needs!!!! If I could give them 10 stars rather than 5, I definitely would!!!!
They were willing to help me With everything I need. Car insurance loans Credit card Just anything I possibly Good needed help with they were willing to do it At a low rate. Then what's even better And I loved most of all I felt like they were focused on helping me and me Directly Almost as if I was the only one In the Bank. They're fast professional fast And most of all, very kind. I did not feel like they were in a hurry to get me out of the way Like some places have.
My wife typically does all of our banking stuff due to my work schedule. She had a great experience with a woman named Amber back in October so she told me she wanted to swop our banking over to Golden West. I personally thought it was a lot pointless effort until I experienced the service that she did! Amber is as great if not better than my wife said she was! She made sure to respect my time (due to it being limited), had excellent customer service and looked for products that financially benefited my family. Thanks to Amber and her ability to take time to get to know us we are now saving over 5% in interest a month and a few hundred dollars in savings every month! Amber directed my wife and I to a nice lady named Karina. Karina was able to get me the quickest auto loan I have ever experienced before the dealership closed, and she got us our credit card super quick as well! My wife just informed me that Karina told her about a promotion that Golden West is offering at the moment for balance transfers. Apparently Karina helped us save a bunch of money by moving all of our debt to Golden West. Thank you for all of your hard work and great service! I’m happy I get to do business with ladies like you moving forward.
